No Call Child Psychiatry Locums Assignment - Connecticut

Practice Setting

• Inpatient setting exclusively dedicated to pediatric patient care.
• Manageable daily patient volume of 5-10 patients, in addition to new intakes.
• Support staff provided to assist with documentation and administrative tasks.

Schedule

• Block scheduling options available; work multiple consecutive shifts per month.
• Daytime coverage only, Monday through Friday.
• Set daily hours of 8:30a-5:00p with a half-hour lunch.

Cases

• Inpatient management of all mental health issues in pediatric patients.
• Focus on comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up treatment.
• Daily work includes a mix of established patients and new patient intakes.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is required.
• Must hold or be able to secure a Connecticut State Medical License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Credentialing Requirements

• Open to IMLC Physicians with an active Letter of Qualification (LOQ) for faster approval.
