Job description:
We are a medical based dermatology practice. We do not perform any cosmetic procedures. We are looking for a dermatology experienced physician assistant and/or nurse practitioner to work full-time in our Burlington County office.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and conditions
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with lead dermatologist to coordinate patient care as needed
- Perform procedures such as skin biopsies, suturing, and administering injections
- Manage chronic conditions and provide ongoing care to patients
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in medical chart
Requirements:
- Valid license in the state of NJ
- Certification as a NP or PA in the respective specialty area; dermatology
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dermatology Nurse Practitioner and/or physician assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and work schedules
