The Skinstitute, a female Physician-Owned Non-Private-Equity dermatology practice is seeking a full-time PA to join our fast growing practice in Leesburg, Virginia. You will be trained and supervised by Dr. Smeena Khan, repeatedly recognized as a Washingtonian Top Doctor who is sought after for both her expertise as well as the kindness and respect with which she delivers care. There is a reason we see a lot of multi-generational families! The Practice
The Skinstitute consists of 3 state-of-the-art centers specializing in medical dermatology, hair loss and aesthetic dermatology. We cover a full spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services in a modern, elegant and spacious office space. This position is a medical dermatology position involving rotating through the general dermatology and hair loss centers alongside the dermatologist and existing medical dermatology PA, treating the full range of dermatologic conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, hair loss, acute rashes, and aging skin. Our PAs perform numerous in-office procedures including skin biopsies, curettage and destruction of lesions, surgical excisions, PRP, and microneedling.

Certified Physician Assistant. No previous dermatology experience required but 2 years post-graduate clinical work experience preferred. Willing to train the right candidate!
Can practice within the scope designated by supervising dermatologist
Ability to work independently, but recognizing when to consult supervising dermatologist
Should eventually be comfortable seeing 30+ patients per day with a dedicated medical assistant
Able to supervise the scribes in maintaining accurate patient records
Provides necessary direction to clinic staff
