Ongoing Oncology APP Assignment - Low Call - South Carolina

Practice Setting

• Mixed setting with both Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities
• Patient Ages: Adult and Geriatric
• Work with a collaborative team of 8 MDs and 4 PAs/NPs
• Anticipated patient volume: 15 outpatient and 20 inpatient encounters per day

Schedule

• Block Scheduling: Consistent Monday-Friday scheduled clinical hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Low Call Responsibility: Predictable 1 in 5-6 week call rotation
• Call includes first call for patient/hospital calls, plus on-site inpatient rounding on Saturday and Sunday

Procedures and Cases

• Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
• Responsible for Blood Bank, Orders Tests, and Orders Images
• Prescribes Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist

Requirements

• Required to be Board Certified in Oncology
• Required Certifications: BLS and DEA
• Must possess or be able to obtain a South Carolina State Licensure

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days
