Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician Opportunity in Kansas City- No Deliveries
A well-established Women's Health program at a high-volume birthing center is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join a growing perinatal program. This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful clinical impact with predictable scheduling and a collaborative, supportive team.
The Practice
This leading regional birthing center performs 4,600+ annual deliveries and features a growing NICU. The incoming MFM physician will work alongside private practice OB/GYNs and an employed OB hospitalist group.
- 100% consultative role; no requirement to attend high-risk deliveries
- Inpatient high-risk consults, antepartum rounding, and virtual consultations
- Amniocentesis expected; fetal surgery needs referred to a dedicated children's hospital
- On-site Genetic Counselor available throughout the week
- Average of 20 patients per day, including ultrasounds

- Monday through Friday, 0.6 FTE employed position
- 1:3 call rotation with 7 days of rounding and on-call coverage
- No ER coverage required; emergent issues addressed same day or within 1 to 2 days

Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Comfortable performing amniocentesis
- Interest in co-management of complex OB patients, including ICU cases
- Desire to contribute to program growth, education, and quality initiatives
