Practice Setting

• Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• 26 bed unit capacity.
• Inpatient neonatal patient population.
• Average daily census of 10-15 in the newborn nursery.

Schedule

• Only 7-14 shifts per month still available.
• 24 hour shift blocks including weekends.
• Ongoing need starting this summer.
• Block scheduling may be available to maximize your time off.

Procedures and Cases

• Rounding on assigned NICU and nursery patients.
• Proficiency in all critical care skills required.
• Delivery room attendance and some transport duties.
• Managing 7-10 NICU patients per shift.

Requirements

• Active Arkansas license required.
• Minimum 24 months of experience.
• Current PALS and NRP certifications.
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification.

Credentialing Requirements

• 120 day credentialing timeframe.
• Full credentialing support provided.
• No temporary privileges available.
