Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led 650+ provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to work within the Boise Mulvaney Ambulatory Outpatient Neurology clinic committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care and who is willing to support and grow a neurology practice in Boise, Idaho. As the regional provider of advanced neurological services, Saint Alphonsus neurologists provide care for patients with complex conditions, neurodegenerative disorders, seizures, and general neurological disease. The Saint Alphonsus Neuroscience Institute promotes collaboration with a team of general neurosurgeons, vascular neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, vascular neurologists, neuropathologists, physiatrists, neuro-ophthalmologist and radiation oncologists. Diagnostic and patient care services available to neurologists include EMG capability in the clinic and the hospital, EEG with web-based interpretation, TCD, and Botox injection, and specialty infusions for Neuro- degenerative diseases. The schedule is a traditional work week, M-F with a minimum of 36 hours of ambulatory clinic patient contact time and 4 hours admin time. No hospital or weekend rounding. The ED call requirement is DOTD call shared equally with other neurologists from 7pm until 7am. Call coverage is for established outpatients only; there is no hospital call, ICU call, stroke call, or EEG call. Acute stroke is covered by the inpatient neurology team.
Support: Well-established neurology outpatient clinic, neuro-ophthalmology, diagnostic neuroradiology; an inpatient neuroscience program anchored with fellowship trained critical care neurologists and neuro hospitalists located in Boise, stroke coordinators, employed interventional neuroradiologists and endovascular neurosurgeons providing emergency time sensitive and elective interventions to include: biplane angiography, MRI/ MRA, CT/CTA, CT perfusion, 4-vessel angiography, and interventional stroke and aneurysm procedures.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of NP or PA Graduate Program (Masters Level) Current license in Idaho
- Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
