- Part-Time Research Associate - Babaee Lab
Description
The primary responsibilities:
1. Develop computational fracture models.
2. Overseeing the efforts to run computational models on lab workstation and other high-performance computing resources.
3. Collaborate with experimental team to validate the code.
4. Closely work with other members of Dr. Hessam Babaee's research laboratories in the Swanson School of Engineering to contribute to development of computational models for fracture.
Required qualifications:
1. Ph.D. degree in computational science, engineering or applied mathematics.
2. The candidate must have a strong background in numerical method development and high-performance computing.
3. A minimum of two years of postdoctoral research experience in the area of computational science or applied mathematics.
4. Expertise in working with large-scale computational codes in C++ and Python.
