Description
Office Duties:
Provide care to new and established patients in the office during regular hours Mon-Fri. Mon-Thurs 7:30 am-4:30 pm, Fri 7:30 am–1:00 pm.
Will see patients independently but work in close collaboration with the Gastroenterologist whom you are working under. Commonly seen conditions include GERD, swallowing disorders, peptic ulcer disease, disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBI), biliary disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, colon cancer screening, colon polyp surveillance and GI bleeding.
No call.
Hospital Duties:
About 5 times per year (1 week each time, 8-5 pm Mon-Fri) when the supervising physician is on call. New consultation and follow up patient care. The care of each patient will be discussed with or directed by the supervising MD.

Requirements
Education:
Graduate of an accredited PA/NP program
Appropriate, current board certification
Experience:
Minimum of two years in a clinic setting.
Prior gastroenterology experience preferred but not required.
Certificates and Licenses
Licensed in the state of North Carolina
Current BLS/ACLS certification
Current DEA licensure or ability to obtain
Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with work experience ($100,000 - $120,000 annually). Health, vision, dental, and short-term disability offered as well as a generous 401K plan with match. CME allowance included.
Ability to commute/relocate:
Fayetteville, NC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
