Were seeking a passionate and driven Contingent Occupational Medicine physician to join our team in Workplace Health team in West Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Opportunity Details
- Trinity Health West Michigan offers a comprehensive Workplace Health/Occupational Medicine program dedicated to the health and safety of workers and workplaces. Services include:
- Perform employee health evaluations
- Ancillary services
- Drug testing services
- Employer services
- Injury prevention and worksite education
- Physical exam programs
- Patients can expect timely, state-of-the-art treatments, quick referrals to specialists, consistent communication, comprehensive testing, and reduced workers compensation costs
- Physicians will be covering our Workplace Health offices located in Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Ludington as needed
- Provide APP oversight when Medical Director is on PTO
- Shifts are 8-10 hours seeing 4 patients per hour
- Will join a close-knit clinical team with support staff and strong medical leadership

Requirements
- Must have Occupational Medicine experience
- DOT & MRO Certification required either before or shortly after employment
- Physician shall be board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or is board eligible and will become board certified within five years following the Start Date (unless sooner required by the applicable medical staff bylaws)
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
