Position overview: We are seeking a skilled oculoplastics physician to provide as-needed consultative and surgical call to support the MedStar Ophthalmology Residents at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. This candidate would be able to elect the specific occasions when they have the ability to provide surgical support, and would not be expected to provide scheduled call duties.
Key clinical responsibilities:
Provide expert care in oculoplastics, including diagnosis and surgical management of a wide range of oculoplastics conditions.
Work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
Medical degree with fellowship training in oculoplastics.
Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology.
Demonstrated clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
Compensation:
$400 for the initial two hours of expected two-way travel, to and from hospital & surgical services, when the candidate elects to support a resident case.
$200/hr for each additional hour onsite at the facility providing care.

This position has a hiring range of USD $200.00 - USD $200.00 /Hr.
