Description

We are looking to recruit a second RN to support my neurology practice.  I am a neurologist specializing in epilepsy and headache - in private practice at Neuro Services located in the Westmount area of Edmonton.  

The successful candidate will be trained primarily by our current RN and will initially work part-time (Tuesdays and Thursdays) as we are working on securing additional space to accommodate a full-time position. The ultimate goal is for this to be a full-time position Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. 

The primary work for this position is:

1) Providing telephone-based followup care for stable patients with epilepsy and headache. 

2) Answering telephone calls to address patient questions and concerns that arise between appointments. 

3) Assistance with insurance form completion, drafting letters of support / accommodations, and assistance with related paperwork.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. 

The ideal candidate will have great communication and problem-solving skills, enabling them to manage a high volume of clinical demands in an efficient manner.
