Job Overview
The Staff Physician delivers comprehensive primary care services to participants of AltaMed's Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). This provider plays a central role within the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), ensuring high-quality, patient-centered, and regulatory-compliant care. Care delivery spans multiple settings, including the PACE center, participants' homes, virtual consultations, and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). The provider is responsible for managing a defined panel of participants, promoting wellness, preventing illness, and coordinating care with specialists and IDT members.
Minimum Requirements
Primary Care Physicians who are Board-certified and eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatrics.
Physician with an active unrestricted CA license to practice medicine by the Medical Board of California.
Previous experience with computer-based systems required; Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.
Current DEA license required.
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Compensation
$237,078.40 - $296,337.60 annually
