Position Summary Angel Kids Pediatrics & Behavioral Health (AKPBH) is one of the largest and most innovative pediatric practices in Florida, serving nearly 45,000 children across nine locations in Jacksonville. We are seeking a full-time Pediatric ARNP or PA who is passionate about high-quality clinical care, innovation, teamwork, and community impact. Key Responsibilities Under the supervision of pediatric physicians, the ARNP/PA will provide comprehensive care to newborns, children, and adolescents, including:
Clinical Care Deliver high-quality, evidence-based pediatric care in an outpatient setting Promote healthy habits, preventive care, and anticipatory guidance Conduct comprehensive health assessments and document complete medical histories Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions Order, interpret, and act on laboratory and diagnostic test results Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Respond effectively to urgent and emergent clinical situations Integrated & Team-Based Care Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health providers, care coordinators, and support staff Participate in integrated care workflows addressing developmental, behavioral, and social needs Communicate effectively with families to support shared decision-making Quality, Compliance & Improvement Participate in quality improvement initiatives and utilization review Adhere to clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory standards Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality clinical documentation
Qualifications Required Master’s degree in Nursing (ARNP) or graduate degree as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program Current, unrestricted Florida license Minimum 2 years of pediatric clinical experience Demonstrated competence in managing pediatric emergencies Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in clinical documentation and EHR use Preferred Attributes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Flexibility and adaptability within evolving care models Commitment to family-centered, culturally sensitive care
