Hematology/Oncology APP Locums - Montana

A Montana Hematology/Oncology practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a long-term locums assignment. This is a great opportunity for an APP looking for a consistent weekday schedule, business-hours call, and a collaborative MD-led practice environment.

Position Highlights

• Long-term assignment with ongoing coverage needed until a permanent hire is in place
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8a-5p
• No nights or weekend call
• Same-day call coverage during business hours
• Approximately 12 patients per shift
• MD-led care team with physician support available as needed
• Fast credentialing available, including emergency credentialing
• Long-term housing may be available

Clinical Setting

• Adult Hematology/Oncology clinic
• Care for patients receiving active treatment as well as oncology follow-ups
• Surveillance and survivorship visits
• Symptom support and treatment management
• First-call responsibility during business hours, with escalation to the MD for consultation
• Established support team including 3 RNs, 3 APPs, 7 MAs, and 6 office staff

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8a-5p
• 1-hour lunch
• Business-hours call: 8a-5p
• No overnight or weekend coverage

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Hematology/Oncology experience
• Board certified
• Montana license required; active Compact license candidates will be considered
