We are seeking a Project Manager in our Applied Science and Innovation division. This new role will support the scientific and research studies in the Program Management Office.
The Role:Â
· Maintain project documentation: assist with Gantt charts, trackers, RAID logs, action items, and deliverables.
· Prepare timelines using MS Project and standardized templates; surface delays and escalate as needed.
· Administer study intake, readiness checklists, and kickoff logistics.
· Liaise among study directors, technical teams, and support units to ensure communication and alignment.
· Support budget awareness and assist in coordination of financial reporting or resource planning activities.
· Lead cross-functional meetings: create agendas, drive discussion, capture outcomes, and track follow-ups.
· Independently develop and manage project timelines in MS Project; adjust based on real-time execution.
· Draft, review, and submit sponsor deliverables and reports in compliance with requirements and timelines.
· Provide feasibility inputs and generate detailed timelines during proposal development.
· Monitor and manage scope, schedule, and deliverables; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
· Coordinate with QC/QA and regulatory staff to ensure adherence to protocols and compliance standards.
· Review study protocols, SOWs, contracts, and final reports for accuracy and alignment with requirements.
· Oversee sponsor-facing financial deliverables: coordinate with finance teams, monitor deadlines, and ensure accuracy prior to submission.
Our Ideal Candidate:Â
· Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years in a scientific, technical, or government research environment (e.g., project coordination, study execution, or research operations), ideally client-facing
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Has or is actively pursuing formal project management (PMP) certificationÂ
• Proficiency in MS Project and Excel; familiarity with PM lifecycle and deliverable workflows
• PgMP or CAPM with extensive experience preferred
• Skilled at managing scope, schedule, and budget across multiple concurrent studies
• Proven ability to synthesize technical study protocols into actionable project plans, trackers, and sponsor deliverables
• Familiarity with regulated research environments (GLP, BSL, FDA, NIH, DoD), and experience navigating compliance and documentation standards
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and situational judgment in complex, fast-paced environments
