Lauring Dermatology is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and dedicated Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing practice in Middle River, Maryland.

Position Responsibilities

The Dermatology PA will provide comprehensive dermatologic care to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of common dermatologic conditions.

Responsibilities may include:

Performing comprehensive dermatologic examinations

• Diagnosing and treating common skin conditions
• Evaluating suspicious lesions and skin cancers
• Treating acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, warts, rashes, and other dermatologic conditions
• Performing appropriate dermatologic procedures including surgical excisions

         Providing patient education regarding skin health and treatment plans

• Developing individualized treatment plans

         Prescribing medications as appropriate

• Documenting patient encounters accurately and thoroughly            Collaborating with the physician and clinical team
• Providing compassionate, professional patient care
• Participating in a team environment focused on quality care and patient satisfaction

Qualifications

Required:

         Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

         Current NCCPA certification (PA-C)

         Eligible for/maintains appropriate Maryland PA licensure and credentials       Sfrong communication and interpersonal skills

         Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care  Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

Preferred:

         Dermatology experience is a plus

         Experience performing dermatologic procedures is a plus

         New graduates with a strong interest in dermatology may be considered
