Practice Setting

• Inpatient cardiovascular surgery coverage
• Collaborative heart team includes 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 General Cardiologists, 1 Electrophysiologist, and 2 Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons
• Works closely with cardiology, pulmonology, oncology, and intensive care specialists
• Dedicated CV OR team support, including anesthesia, perfusion, and CVICU

Schedule

• Holiday coverage starting mid December with options to extend into early January
• Scheduled clinical hours, 6 to 8 hours per day
• Inpatient coverage with call, shared call structure
• Credentialing timeframe, 30 to 60 days

Cases and Procedures

• Adult cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• General thoracic surgery experience is valuable
• Program volume context, about 130 CABG annually, TAVR volume is similar

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery CAQ
• Missouri license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only
