This Gastroenterology assignment provides inpatient consult coverage at a Level I Trauma Center with ongoing monthly call needs and expedited emergency privileges available for qualified physicians. The role centers on advanced GI procedures and acute consult management.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient consult service only

Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage from 7a-7a
• Coverage blocks available throughout the year
• Approximately 5-7 days per month
• Average callback volume around 11.5 hours daily

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Colorado license required or eligible through Interstate Medical Licensure Compact qualifications
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active DEA required for the duration of the assignment
