Locums Gastroenterology in Pennsylvania - Advanced Procedures, Block Scheduling

This GI assignment combines hospital-based procedures with consult work, offering short block coverage for physicians who want advanced case variety without a full-time commitment.

Practice & Cases

• Hospital-based endoscopy and inpatient consults
• Adult patient population only
• High-volume scope days and consult service
• Support from physicians and APPs, including daily rounding assistance

Schedule

• Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
• Rotating call including nights and weekends
• Approximately 1 in 3 call rotation
• Block scheduling with select weeks still available

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania license or open to Interstate Medical Licensure Compact physicians
• Comfortable with ERCP and full scope procedures
