Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Iowa - 24 Hour Shifts, Flexible Blocks

This OB hospitalist assignment provides in-house labor and delivery coverage with flexible 24-hour scheduling blocks in a high-volume OB emergency setting. The role combines acute obstetric care, deliveries, and inpatient coverage within a fully supported hospital environment.

• Inpatient OB emergency department coverage
• Vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections
• High-risk and emergent obstetric care
• Adult and newborn patient population

Schedule

• 24-hour shifts from 7a-7a
• Ongoing open coverage dates available
• Multi-day block scheduling permitted
• Physicians may work up to two consecutive 24-hour shifts

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Iowa license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact qualifications required
• BLS certification required
