Take solo general thoracic call with no cardiac cases, an adult-only patient population, and additional PRN coverage available after the initial block.

Practice & Cases

• Adult inpatient and outpatient thoracic surgery
• Lobectomy, VATS, and wedge resection
• Esophagectomy, hiatal hernia repair, and Nissen fundoplication
• Mediastinoscopy, thymectomy, decortication, and bronchoscopy

Schedule

• Multi-day initial coverage block
• 24 hour call with daytime rounding
• Calls fielded across multiple locations
• Onsite callbacks and rounding limited to two locations

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
• Active Georgia medical license required
• DEA required
