Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an exceptional and highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our Neonatology team at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital, located within Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, N.J. Equipped with a state-of-the-art 40-bed, Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), our facility provides advanced care capabilities for critically ill and premature babies. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of neonatal care, blending your clinical expertise with collaborative teamwork to ensure the highest standards of patient outcomes for our most vulnerable patients and their families.

Core Clinical Duties & Privileges:
- Attend high-risk deliveries to provide immediate neonatal assessment and appropriate stabilization.
- Evaluate and treat complex newborns in the NICU in collaboration with neonatal attendings.
- Evaluate newborns in the well-baby nursery for conditions requiring elevation of care.
- Perform therapeutic interventions as appropriate for the comprehensive care of neonatal ICU patients.
- Participate actively in the NICU transport team.
- Provide family-centered care and communicate effectively with health care teams and families.
- Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.

Required Qualifications for NP:
- Licensure: Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner (NP) License.
- Certification: NNP Certification (or eligible to obtain).
- Life Support Certifications:
American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) HCP Certification.
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification..
COMPENSATION:
Minimum Starting Base Salary : $168,812.80 Annually
