Description
Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician associate to join the Gynecologic Oncology team with the Providence Gynecologic Oncology Program, located on the campuses of Providence Portland Medical Center and Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate is proficient in clinic, hospital, and operating room settings and thrives in a patient-centered environment.
Position Details:
- Full-time (1.0 FTE); hybrid role encompassing outpatient and inpatient setting
- 4,10-hour weekdays; Call approximately 2 weekends a month
- First-assist in surgery
- Co-management of systemic therapy plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
- Opportunity to collaborate with clinical research teams and support patient participation in leading-edge clinical trials
- Collaborative, team-based practice within a comprehensive cancer program
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate (NP or PA)
- Experience as an Advanced Practice Clinician in Women's Health with first-assist/surgical experience required; oncology/cancer care experience strongly preferred
- Collaborative team player who values multidisciplinary partnerships
- Thrives in an environment that balances autonomy with robust peer and organizational support
- Demonstrates commitment to compassionate, evidence-based palliative care for cancer patients
