Locums Ophthalmology Physician in Virginia - Surgery Mix, Three Day Schedule

A blend of clinic and surgical ophthalmology care with a consistent three-day weekly schedule. Strong technician and scribe support helps maximize efficiency across both clinic and procedure days.

Practice & Cases

• Outpatient ophthalmology practice with surgical responsibilities
• Adult and adolescent patient population
• Cataracts, IOLs, glaucoma care, and MIGS procedures
• Approximately 35 to 50 patients per day with dedicated support staff

Schedule

• Tuesday through Thursday coverage
• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm clinic schedule
• Earlier start times on surgery days
• Call responsibilities included during coverage periods

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Active Virginia license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
• Travel accommodations arranged for assignment coverage
