RHSC/Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is seeking an exceptional, patient-focused Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team in a dedicated night-shift position. This role will include a mix of shifts providing care in our 11-bed emergency psychiatric unit and other areas of the Emergency Department, including triage. The PA will work closely with Emergency Medicine physicians, crisis clinicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.
This position provides direct patient care, including patient evaluation, diagnosis, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic studies, treatment planning, and procedures within scope. New graduates are not being considered, at this time. Emergency Medicine experience is preferred, and psychiatric experience is also highly valued. Performs other duties as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE: 0.8 FTE- Typical Emergency Department Schedule. Night shifts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Physician Assistant Certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Current Minnesota license
Able to obtain Wisconsin licensure upon hire.
ACLS/BLS/ATLS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
EMERGENCY MEDICINE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Psychiatry experience valuable
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
PALS recommended
PAY RANGE STATEMENT
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity. After the salary guarantee period, this position will be compensated based on work RVU productivity.
PAY RANGE
$139,900.80 - $149,489.60 annually based on a 1.0 FTE
In addition to the listed base salary range, this position receives a premium differential for eligible night-shift hours
