MaineHealth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Rockport is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding, team-based practice serving the coastal communities of Knox and Waldo Counties. This position is ideal for a general orthopedic surgeon with a strong interest in knee procedures, who values a collaborative environment and diverse clinical practice.
Position Details
- Scope: General Orthopedics with opportunity to build elective and procedural volume in knee-focused care
- Practice Sites: Clinical and daytime OR responsibilities shared between Rockport and Belfast, ME
- Call Coverage: 1:10 weekend call rotation and 1:4 weekday call rotation; call coverage based out of Rockport, ME.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training welcomed but not required; interest/experience in knee procedures preferred
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and community engagement

The annual base salary for this position is $612,192.
