The Position
- The Physician Recruitment Manager will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership for all physician recruitment efforts across the organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, this leader will drive initiatives focused on attracting, securing, and onboarding high-caliber physician leaders and locum tenens providers in support of organizational growth and provider workforce needs.
- The Physician Recruitment Manager will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and evaluation of qualifications to ensure selected providers align with the organization's mission, values, and long-term objectives. This leader will serve as a key ambassador for the organization, cultivating strong candidate relationships and delivering an exceptional recruitment experience.
- This individual will lead the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of physician employment agreements and will manage all recruitment-related business discussions and transactions between the organization and prospective providers. The Manager will work closely with Executive Leadership and physician leadership to develop competitive recruitment strategies that support ongoing staffing and succession planning initiatives.
- Seeking a relationship-focused leader with expertise in physician compensation, market analytics, contract management, negotiations, and payroll-related processes. This individual will coordinate and support key initiatives including the Provider Compensation Program while ensuring recruitment practices remain competitive and aligned with market trends.
- The Physician Recruitment Manager will play an integral role in physician onboarding and retention efforts, providing ongoing guidance and support to newly hired providers and their families as they transition into the community and organization. This leader will facilitate access to resources, administrative support, education, and training opportunities to promote a successful onboarding experience.
- The Physician Recruitment Manager will be a visible, collaborative, and approachable leader who actively participates in committee meetings, educational initiatives, and cross-functional projects. This individual will partner closely with physician leadership as well as teams supporting quality, patient safety, and infection prevention to foster strong organizational alignment and provider engagement.
- Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong relationships with physician candidates, residency and fellowship programs, recruitment partners, and internal stakeholders to build a sustainable provider pipeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree is preferred.
- Certification by Medical Group Management Association and/or American Society of Physician Recruiters is preferred.
- On-Site leadership is required; hybrid work model will not be available for this opportunity.
- Healthcare experience is required.
