Primary Care Physician – East End of Long Island

Northwell Health and Peconic Bay Medical Center are seeking Primary Care Physicians to join our growing practices on the East End of Long Island.  We have several locations in the area that are an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care in a collaborative, team-based environment with access to the extensive clinical resources of Northwell Health. Our outpatient primary care practices offer a convenient community setting within Northwell’s comprehensive network of care.

Founded in 1951 as Central Suffolk Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center is the largest hospital in eastern Suffolk County, and the eastern hub of Northwell Health. As a non-for-profit 144-bed community hospital, we serve as the primary resource for advanced healthcare services for the 250,000+ residents of the Riverhead area, eastern central Suffolk County, and Long Island's North Fork.  We provide our service area's only Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Suite, Level III Trauma Center, and NYS-Designated Stroke Center.

We are expanding outpatient access to our community with over 50 practice locations and 80-plus providers at our multispecialty locations, spanning from Shirley and Manorville to Greenport and Southampton. From primary care to advanced-care services like gastroenterology, cancer treatment and labs and imaging, quality care is close to home in Eastern Suffolk.

On the East End of Long Island, you'll find a dynamic region rich in diverse communities, educational experiences, and countless activities. The area beautifully divides into two distinct experiences: the North Fork, known for its acclaimed wineries, quaint harborside villages, and agricultural landscapes; and the South Fork, home to exclusive international resort areas and some of the most celebrated public beaches. Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
