Why Join Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital
If you're looking for an Internal Medicine position where you can practice alongside a deep bench of experienced specialists while having the resources to manage complex cases, Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital (Mass Vet) offers an exceptional environment to grow your career. You'll join an established Internal Medicine team of eight board-certified Internists supported by a seasoned technician team within one of New England's premier Level 1 emergency and specialty centers.
Located just 11 miles north of Boston, Mass Vet is a 45,000-square-foot state-of-the-art hospital offering Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Emergency, and Critical Care seven days per week, with Cardiology, Anesthesia, Ophthalmology, and Oncology also available throughout the week. You'll work in a truly multidisciplinary environment where collaboration across specialties is part of everyday patient care.
Recent hospital renovations have significantly expanded the resources available to clinicians. You'll have access to advanced MRI and CT, multiple ultrasound and digital radiology suites, fluoroscopy, a dedicated endoscopy suite with two Olympus video endoscopy towers, nine operating rooms including an interventional radiology suite, three isolation suites, an expanded ICU, and a dedicated dialysis suite.
Mass Vet is equally committed to supporting the people who provide that care. An on-staff social worker is available to support both employees and clients, while a newly upgraded employee breakroom offers amenities designed to give the team a place to recharge throughout the day. You'll be joining a hospital that takes clinical excellence seriously while recognizing that a healthy, supported team is essential to delivering exceptional medicine.
