Compensation: Base salary $200,000-$215,000 plus production

Why Join Animal Emergency & Specialty Center
At Animal Emergency & Specialty Center, you'll do more than practice exceptional Internal Medicine, you'll help shape and expand a growing service while working alongside a collaborative team committed to advanced patient care, professional growth, and clinical excellence.
We're seeking a second board-certified or residency-trained Internist to join our thriving specialty and emergency hospital in beautiful Poulsbo, Washington. You'll be joining an Internal Medicine service established in 2024 by our current internist, who brings experience from a five-internist specialty practice and is excited to welcome a colleague to share cases, collaborate on complex patients, and continue expanding the service.
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing specialty department with an established referral base while still having the ability to influence its future direction. Because the service is relatively new, your ideas, expertise, and vision will be welcomed and supported.
As the only 24/7 specialty and emergency hospital serving Washington's Olympic Peninsula, AESC has developed a strong referral network and loyal clientele. Our Internal Medicine team works closely with Surgery and Emergency services to manage both inpatient and outpatient cases. Future growth plans include the development of an in-house blood bank and Critical Care service, creating even more opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration.
Supported by advanced diagnostic equipment, modern imaging capabilities, and a dedicated team of experienced technicians and support staff, you'll have the resources needed to practice at the highest level while helping grow a service with tremendous potential.
Our culture is rooted in kindness, respect, and teamwork. We strive to ensure every team member feels valued and supported while delivering exceptional care to patients, clients, and referring veterinarians.
